Whilst the shop is open to the public, occasionally due to staff requirements on the Recycling Centre site, the shop may have to close. Winter opening hours (1 October – 31 March) Summer opening hours (1 April – 30 September) The Recycling Centre opening times are below: The shop opening hours are approximately half an hour after the Recycling Centre opening time and closing time is around half an hour before the site closes. This venture has been soft launched by Biffa and has not been actively promoted to residents at this stage. The goal is to take items that could potentially go to waste and give them a new lease of life at affordable prices, reducing the amount of household goods that end up wasted whilst allowing people to buy affordable, good quality furniture, garden items and homeware without getting into debt. Items can be donated at this site as well as there being a shop outlet for patrons to purchase items which have been donated. ![]() The first being Horsham *īiffa have a opened a small Reuse shop at the Billingshurst Recycling Centre to save bric a brac, homeware, bikes (sold as seen) and furniture, including garden furniture, from going to waste. More information about the Billings Regional Landfill such as schedules and fees can be found on their website, are delighted to report that a second reuse shop has opened in Billingshurst. Repairs to the west end of the building will begin later this year, with a projected completion and re-opening of the entire building in late spring or summer 2023. As the floor space is reduced by 1/3 at this time, expect delays and be patient. ![]() Is it expected to be busy?Īccording to the Billings Public Works Department, this will depend on customer volume. Please enter through the large overhead east door, drop the garbage near one of the two available holes, and leave through one of the south doors back to the outbound scales to exit the Landfill. Additional signs will be posted for directions. Details on your arrival:Ĭustomers will still enter and stop at the scales, where they will be directed to the proper location according to garbage type. General Household Garbage is the only trash being accepted at this time. Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2nd at 8 am. Those repairs have been completed to the east end of the building. After a fire in January, the Landfill Building was shuttered to undergo repairs. ![]()
